The semi-hollow body is crafted from hand-selected Canadian curly maple, delivering the characteristic warmth and resonance that define the Viking's character. The HAGSTROM Resinator™ fingerboard, known for its stability and balanced sound reproduction, features an exclusive Ragnarök snake fingerboard inlay, symbolizing tradition, transformation, and rebirth.
In honor of this occasion, this limited edition Viking is equipped with newly developed HAGSTROM Custom 58 Pro AlNiCo 5 humbucking pickups in elegant gold. Each pickup features a nickel/silver frame and cover, a material that emphasizes overtones and improves overall clarity. The coil windings have been specially tuned to offer players a slightly more dynamic tonal range, providing more warmth, precise articulation, and a touch of sharpness in the highs and mids. Whether you're playing expressive blues, articulate jazz, or rousing rock leads, these pickups respond beautifully to all the subtleties with transparent clarity.
The instrument is equipped with high-quality Gotoh hardware in gold, including precision tuners, a Tune-O-Matic bridge, a specially designed tailpiece, and Gotoh locking straps for superior stability and live performance on stage.
