The Hagstrom Danko Jones Signature grew out of Danko’s own Ultra Max, refined by his guitar tech, Tim Hughes, to create a guitar that is simple, powerful, reliable and built for the stage.
Its specially tapered neck is fast and comfortable, with enough substance to dig in, while our Hagstrom locking wrap-around bridge delivers rock-solid stability, sustain and a direct, powerful response.
At its heart is the custom Mango Tone humbucker. Built around an Alnico 4 magnet with a customized winding, it was voiced for more meat, rich harmonics and that elusive “brown sound” character. Thick, punchy and saturated without becoming muddy.
Push it hard and it roars. Roll back the volume and it cleans up naturally without losing its character.
